Five fire companies respond to residential structure fire in Hopeton

At approximately 10:25 pm Monday,  units from Parksley, Bloxom, Onancock, Tasley and Melfa responded to a report of a residential structure fire in Hopeton.  Firefighters arrived to find the residence on fire but were able to bring it under control at approximately 10:48 pm.  It was reported that four children and an adult were at the residence.  No injuries were reported.
