Closings Delays Monday January 31, 2022

Due to icy road conditions, Accomack County Public Schools will observe a virtual learning day for all students on Monday, January 31, 2022. Twelve-month employees will work from home.

Eastern Shore Community College closed Monday

Onley Pre School will open at 10 a.m.

Shore Christian Academy will be closed Monday

Broadwater Academy closed Monday

For the safety of our teachers, students, and families Belle Croft will be closed tomorrow, Monday, January 31, 2022. We hope to see you on Tuesday!

The Eastern Shore Community Services Board offices will be closed

Riverside Medical Group primary care and specialists will open on a 2 hour delay on Monday, January 31. This includes Riverside Shore Medical Center at Metompkin, Riverside Eastern Shore Family Medicine (Nassawadox), Riverside Cape Charles Medical Center and the specialists in the medical office building on the Onancock campus.
In addition, the Riverside Shore Cancer Center and Dr. Kellam’s practice inside the hospital will open on a 2 hour delay. Riverside Physical Therapy will also be on a 2 hour delay.

Eastern Shore Rural Health will operate at regular hours Monday

Accomack Government facilities including the Landfill, South Transfer Station and Convenience Centers are on a delayed start, Monday, January 31, 2022, due to inclement weather. All facilities will open 10:00AM. Check County website for updates.

OBS and OBS Eastville will open at 9am on Monday January 31st

Star Transit will be running on Monday January 31, 2022. The first bus routes on the main roads only till we can evaluate the secondary roads conditions. This due to icy spots and snow drifts.

Due to inclement weather both Accomack and Northampton Head Start centers will be closed, Monday, January 31for in person classes. Virtual classes will be provided. If you have questions please contact your child’s teacher or family services worker via Class Tag.

The Eastern Shore Coalition Against Domestic Violence offices will be closed Monday January 31st. The 24/7 hotline 757-787-1329 is still available for domestic violence and sexual assault emergencies.
