The Northampton Yellow Jackets football game scheduled for Thursday, March 18 at 6:00 PM with Southampton has been canceled due to a COVID-19 issue with the Southampton Indians.
According to Northampton’s Phillip Sweet, the game will not be made up due to the Virginia State Playoffs being scheduled to begin the following week.
Northampton will be participating in the playoffs and WESR will report on their schedule.
