Accomack County reported two additional COVID-19 test positives Friday morning. All other COVID-19 metrics for the Eastern Shore were unchanged. The Eastern Shore processed 64 tests in Friday’s numbers for a test positive rate of 3.1%.
Virginia added 1,274 COVID-19 test positives in Friday’s numbers with 118 additional probable cases.
96 additional COVID-19 hospitalizations were reported and two additional probable hospitalizations .The Virginia Hospital and Healthcare Association reports current COVID-19 hospitalizations in Virginia increased by 23 to 897.
Virginia added 17 new confirmed COVID-19 deaths Friday with one additional probable death.
Virginia processed 13,700 tests in Friday’s report for a test positive rate of 9.2%.
