Closings and cancellations due to inclement weather for Tuesday, January 9

Northampton County Public Schools have announced they will dismiss early Tuesday due to the forecasted weather. Northampton High School & Middle School will dismiss at 1:00 PM and Northampton Elementary School will dismiss at 1:30 PM. All after-school activities are canceled.

Accomack County Public Schools will dismiss 2 hours early on Tuesday, due to the incoming storm. There will be no after school activities.

Head Start in both Accomack and Northampton County will dismiss at 1:00pm due to impending bad weather.

Broadwater Academy has canceled all after school activities and extended care for Tuesday evening.

The Onancock and Hare Valley Senior Centers will be closed today.

Foodbank USDA distribution will close at 12:00 today, there will be not afternoon distribution.

The January meeting of Eastern Shore of Virginia Chapter, Daughters of the America Revolution scheduled for today at Ker Place has been cancelled. It is rescheduled for Tuesday, January 16th at 2:00 pm. 

Market St. Grill in Onancock is closing at 3 pm.

Anointed Hands Bakery in Onley is closing at 2 p.m.

Bayside Rehabitation, Inc. will be closing at 1:00 PM due to impending bad weather.

C.D. Marsh Jewelers in Onancock closing at 3 Pm today.

Eastern Shore Community College in Melfa WILL REMAIN OPEN for all scheduled classes and events this afternoon and evening.
