Following a public hearing Wednesday the Accomack County Board of Supervisors updated an ordinance adopted in June extending the declaration of a State of Emergency due to the COVID-19 pandemic. By extending the State of Emergency the Supervisors extended the available actions that could be utilized if needed. The action is a legal maneuver to keep options open to the Board if needed.
