The weather is expected to cooperate for tomorrow’s 94th Annual Chincoteague Pony Swim, between 8:30-10:30 a.m. at Tom’s Cove.  A slight chance of showers before 8 a.m. should give way to clearing skies, much lower humidity and an afternoon high of 82 degrees.

The ponies will make the swim at slack tide and then be herded to the Carnival Grounds where they will rest.. The auction will take place Thursday beginning at 8:00 a.m. until 12 noon.   They will return to Assateague Friday morning at around 11:00 a.m.

WESR’s Allen Hamilton will be at the swim and the auction with live updates each day.
