ONLEY – A&N Electric Cooperative held its Annual Meeting on Thursday, Aug. 22 at Nandua High School.

The cooperative provided its members reports on its end of the year financial status, updates on what’s ahead and held elections for two directors representing District 1 and 3, which represent portions of Accomack and Northampton Counties.

Director Addison W. Nottingham Jr., representing District 3, and Edward V. Parks Jr. representing District 1, were re-elected to the board in an uncontested election.

Nottingham and Parks have each served on the Cooperative’s Board of Directors for 15 years.

Nottingham currently serves as the board’s chairman.

Over 2,330 cooperative members participated in the election of directors either in-person or by proxy.
