Norfolk lawyer Phil Hernandez(D) has announced he will run for the 100th House of Delegates seats.
Hernandez attended First Colonial High School and William & Mary undergrad before getting his law degree from the University of California at Berkley.
According to his website, he served on President Barack Obama’s White House Domestic Policy Council. He currently serves as a civil and workers rights attorney.
According to VPAP.org, no other democrats or republicans have yet filed to run for the seat. It is currently held by Delegate Rob Bloxom who is serving his third term in what is widely considered the Eastern Shore’s seat in Richmond.
