Robie Marsh, Executive Director of the Eastern Shore of Virginia Chamber of Commerce in Melfa, has been named to the Board of the Virginia Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives. Marsh will represent District 2 on the Board, and his three year term will begin July 1, 2018.
The 2nd District includes the Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce, the Northampton County Chamber of Commerce, the Chincoteague Chamber of Commerce, the York Chamber of Commerce, and the Greater Williamsburg Area Chamber of Commerce. Marsh will join 22 other Chamber Executives from across Virginia.
““I am truly honored to be asked to serve alongside so many talented Chamber Execs from throughout Virginia. I have always held the VACCE institution in high esteem, so being asked to serve on their board is an exciting opportunity,” Marsh said. “I look forward to the opportunity to learn from this diverse group, strengthen and expand partnerships for the ESVA Chamber and to hopefully identify new ideas that I can bring back home to help strengthen our local business community.”
VACCE is an alliance of chamber executives representing large and small chambers of commerce from localities throughout the state. VACCE strives to develop the professional skills of chamber executives, staff and volunteer leaders. The Association also provides a forum for integrating the work of the local chambers of commerce to contribute to the growth and development not only of local communities but also to our Commonwealth.
