Accomack County beefs up security cameras in County buildings

The Accomack County Board of Supervisors were told last Wednesday that the county has installed additional security cameras in the County Office Buildings. The Virginia Beach shootings have prompted local governments to take steps to improve security at local government facilities.   The cameras will be monitored at the Accomack County Sheriff’s Department.

The administration hopes that the additional security measures will discourage anyone from attempting to create havoc at any of the County office buildings.
