Today is the day we thank veterans for the service they performed for the country. Although there are no major celebrations scheduled on the Eastern Shore, the Parksley American Legion Post 100, is having a Pulled Pork dinner at the Parksley Farmers Market. The dinner includes a pulled pork sandwich, coleslaw, brownie and a bottle of water. Free to Veterans and donations of $10 for the general public.
Banks and post offices will be closed today.
