
In a game heard live on WESR, the Arcadia Firebirds defeated Lancaster Friday night 37-19.
The Firebirds were lead by Brian White Jr., who caught 5 passes for 106 yards and two touchdowns, and also added one rushing score. Kenny Walker named White the Bojangles Player of the Game. Nakahi Wilson added 9 rushes for 121 yards and a score as well. Quarterback Carson Wallace finished 6 for 15 passing for 171 yards and three touchdowns.
The Firebirds improve to 2-4 on the season and will next play at Washington on Friday, October 10.
Northampton defeated Middlesex on the road 43-24. The Yellow Jackets improve to 5-1 on the season and will have a bye this coming week.
Nandua fell to Washington in Friday night action 36-7. The Warriors fall to 1-4 on the season and will play Isle of Wight next week.
The Broadwater Academy Vikings were victorious on the road Friday night, defeating Fuqua 30-13. The Vikings are now 4-2 on the season. Next Saturday is Broadwater’s Homecoming, they will host Randolph-Macon Academy at 2:00 PM.
The Chincoteague Ponies also tallied a win Friday night, defeating Greenbrier Christian 46-25. The Ponies are also 4-2 on the season. They return to action next week against Brunswick Academy.
