Voting is a cornerstone of democracy. Some citizens face barriers that prevent them from casting their ballots, especially those without reliable transportation.
Recognizing this challenge, Earl Shrag has stepped up to coordinate a volunteer-driven initiative offering free rides to the registrar’s offices on the Shore for early voting and to the precinct polling places on Election Day. His effort ensures that every eligible voter, regardless of mobility or resources, has the opportunity to participate in shaping their future.
His effort ensures that lack of transportation doesn’t mean lack of representation. By helping Shore residents get to the ballot box, Shrag is strengthening civic participation and reminding us that every vote, and every voter, truly counts.
