9th Annual Champagne & Oyster Tasting
The 9th Annual Champagne & Oyster Tasting will be held November 15th from 4-7 pm at Historic Onancock School!
Start out under the tent with fresh local oysters on half shell, provided and shucked by Lilliston Seafood and receive your complimentary glass of champagne. Move indoors to visit our open studios, stop at tasting stations for delicious bites by Maurice and check out all the auction items on display.
All the while we will be entertained by live music from Bayside Jazz playing some cool jazz, blues and popular tunes for dancing.
A favorite part of the evening is the live auction by the one & only Chester Jackson. We have received some awesome treasures this year – original art by many of our talented local and resident artists – paintings, carved pieces, handmade ceramics, sculptures. Also look for unique Eastern Shore experiences. We’re going to be teasing some auction items on our social media page this week, so look for Historic Onancock School on Facebook and hos_1921 on Instagram! There might be an original Billy Crockett piece, a boat tour on the Major Gayle, a kayak tour for two from Burnham Guides, and local restaurant gift certificates!
This is a major fundraiser for HOS; all proceeds go directly to our operating fun – upkeep of the building and grounds. Can’t happen without our amazing Sponsors – John Fiege CFP, Cyndi Downing, Alum of 1969 and Fit With Liz.
