{"id":93977,"date":"2021-12-09T05:35:37","date_gmt":"2021-12-09T10:35:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/shoredailynews.com\/?p=93977"},"modified":"2021-12-09T05:35:37","modified_gmt":"2021-12-09T10:35:37","slug":"harmon-behind-bars-after-shooting-melfa-woman","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/shoredailynews.com\/headlines\/harmon-behind-bars-after-shooting-melfa-woman\/","title":{"rendered":"Suspect behind bars after Melfa shooting"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>According to Sheriff Todd Wessells, on December 4, 2021 at approximately 12:37 a.m., the Accomack County Sheriff\u2019s Office received a report of gunshot victim in the 29000 block of Lankford Highway in Melfa, Virginia.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While deputies were enroute to this location they were notified that the victim was being transported to Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital and that the suspect was possibly armed with the victim.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Upon deputies arrival at RSMH they observed a 23 year old female suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
