A lines of thunderstorms that moved through the Eastern Shore last night brought welcome rain. Early this morning there was one power outage in the Pungoteague/Boston area.
ANEC reports there were 743 customers without power as of 5:45 this morning. Crews were on the scene working to restore power to those customers. The storms brought damage to the Hampton Roads area as well.
But that may not be the end of the storms as more are expected later on today.
Accomac reported 1.38 inches of rain with more in some areas. Northampton reported 1.5 inches.
