What to Bring to Shelters

• Bedding: Blankets, sleeping bags, cots, and pillows

• Medicine: At least a 3-day supply of any required medications

• Snacks

• Books and entertainment materials for children

  

Note: Pets are not allowed in public shelters. In past storms, a pet-friendly shelter has sometimes been made available.
