Accomack Sheriff, Commonwealth’s Attorney and Clerk of Court invite public to free event

The Accomack County Sheriff’s Office, Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office, and Clerk of the Circuit Court are inviting the public to Sawmill Park in Accomac on Friday, October 3, for the annual “Party in the Park.” The free community event will run from 5 to 8 p.m.

The evening will feature food, music, and activities for all ages. Hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, and drinks will be provided at no cost, with DJ Fuzz supplying music throughout the event. A K9 demonstration by the Sheriff’s Office is also scheduled.

For children and families, bounce houses, slides, and an obstacle course will be available. A Community Resource Fair will also be on site, with local agencies sharing information about services available to Accomack residents.

The event is sponsored by the Accomack County Sheriff’s Office, the Accomack County Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office, and the Accomack County Clerk of the Circuit Court.
