Funeral service for  Mr. Samuel L. Downing, also known as “Squirrel” of Parksley, will be conducted on Saturday at 9AM from the Chapel of Cooper &  Humbles Funeral Co., Accomac, with Rev. Harold E. White, Sr. officiating. Interment will be  in the First Baptist Church Cemetery, Mappsville. Family and friends may call on Friday from 12 to 1 at the funeral home.
