Patricia Milton

Patricia Redeye Milton, 83, of Cape Charles, Virginia, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2026.

Born in Richmond, Virginia, Patricia was the daughter of the late Ernest and Catherine Fahed Redeye. She was the beloved wife of Marvin Vernon Milton, with whom she shared 53 wonderful years of marriage.

Patricia was a devoted member of St. Charles Catholic Church for 25 years and was also a proud member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She dedicated many years to serving her community through her work. Patricia began her career as a check processor for the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, where she worked for five years. After moving to Fairfax County, she continued her career as a cafeteria manager for the public school system for 14 years before retiring.

Patricia found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved raising parakeets and caring for her tropical fish, hobbies that reflected her gentle spirit and appreciation for nature.

She is survived by her loving husband, Marvin Vernon Milton; her son, Michael V. Milton and his wife, Amy; her daughter, Christina O’Connell and her husband, Kevin; stepchildren, Kim Sims and her husband, Kevin, and Lisa Shackelford and her husband, Ricky; grandchildren Megan, Ricky, Graeme, Maelin, Matthew, and Henry; one great-grandchild, Audrey; and her sister, Connie Averatte.

Patricia will be remembered for her kindness, dedication to family, and the love she shared with those around her. She leaves behind a lasting legacy of devotion and cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, June 22, 2026, at 2:00PM at St. Charles Catholic Church, with Father Michael Imperial officiating. Family will join friends one hour prior at the church.
