Mrs. Martha Coleburn Young

Mrs. Martha Coleburn Young , 85, wife of the late Honorable Thomas William Young, passed away March 9, 2024 at home surrounded by family.

Born May, 20, 1938 she was the daughter of the late Joseph French and Dacia Parks Coleburn.

Mrs. Young was born in Accomac in her family’s home, a place very dear to her. She graduated from airline school in New York City and also worked at DuPont before returning to the Shore to marry and devote the remainder of her life to her family. Martha valued close friends, humor and well appointed homes.

Mrs. Young is survived by three children Ann Justis, Robert Young and Greg Young and a very special son-in-law, Clay Justis. She was the proud grandmother of Thomas, Cole, Robert, Philip, Ann Holt, Grace, Mason and Angel and great grandmother of Penelope, Luca, Ruby and William. She was predeceased by her husband, the Honorable Thomas William Young.
