Fonteen Leon Trader, 76, resident of Bedford, Virginia, passed away Sunday, October 20, 2024 at Bedford Hospital. A native of Sanford, Virginia, he was the son of the late Fonteen Trader and the late Emily Marshall (Trader). He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. He retired from a long career in business management for over 30 years. One of Leon’s many talents was playing the piano which he shared with many churches over the years.
He is survived by his two sons Chad Trader of Iowa and Brian Trader of Stockton, Maryland. Three grandchildren Kameryn Brumbley (Trader), Kortney Trader and Brian Trader II.
At Leon’s wishes a family viewing and graveside service will be conducted Monday, October 28, 2024 at 12:00 pm at Downings Cemetery, Oak Hall, Virginia, officiated by Pastor Dan Tarr.
