Beverly Ann White

Beverly Ann Madre White, beloved daughter of the late Walter and Gloria Justice Madre, was born on Wednesday, June 13, 1953 in Whitesville, Virginia. She departed this life on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, surrounded by family.

Beverly received her education in the Accomack County Public School System. She accepted Christ at an early age. She was a dedicated member of Gospel Temple Baptist Church in Keller, Virginia. She was a member of the choir and served faithfully until her health began to fail.

Beverly enjoyed watching different game shows and western movies. She also loved to joke around with family. Beverly loved her son, Shawn dearly. He was the apple of her eye.

In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, Harry White; two sisters, Bonnie Mae and Eva Geraldine; three brothers, Darrell, Norris Lee, and Walt Madre.

Beverly leaves to cherish loving memories: one son, Shawn Madre; one granddaughter, Chelcee Wray; one brother, James Madre; five nieces, Angela (Deval) White, Shonta Godwin, Markeisha Chandler, Kayonna Hinmon, and Heather Hinmon; three nephews, Jeffrey (Barbara) Madre, Sr., James (Nakeysha) Godwin, Devon Hinmon; close friends, Ethel Sapp, Marie Dennis, and Margaret Reed; and several great-nieces & nephews, great, great-nieces & nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday at 5 PM from the chapel of Cooper & Humbles Funeral Co. with Bishop David Sabatino officiating. Family and friends may call on Saturday from 4-until the time of service at the funeral home.
