Ann Atkinson Taylor, 83 of Exmore, wife of the late Fletcher Lee “Jr” Taylor, III passed away on January 7, 2019 at Riverside Shore Memorial in Onancock, VA.
Born on November 2, 1935 in Pocomoke City, MD she was the daughter of the late Franklin B. Atkinson and Virginia Bayly Bryd.
Ann is survived by her eldest son, Don Williams and his wife Betty of Hebron, Maryland; youngest daughter Luci Austin and her husband Gary of Hopkinsville, KY. Also preceded in death by Ann is a daughter Margaret “Peggy” Tyler and a son Jeffrey “Jeff” Bruce Taylor. Stepchildren; Mary Lee Marshall and her husband Alfred ; Buddy Taylor and his wife, Ruby. Grandchildren; Charles Tyler and his wife Jessica and their daughters, Kaley and Emma of Chincoteague,VA ; Donnie Tyler and his children Ryan Tyler and Joanne Carman ; Glenn Williams and his wife Roni Gail of Ocean City, MD; Natalie Matthews and her children, Adriana, Landon, Ethan and Kyra of Hebron MD; Jeffrey Bruce Taylor and his wife Marcella and their sons Aiden and Oliver of Charleston, SC; Jade Callazzo and her husband John of DE ; Walter Prince and his wife, Charlee and their children, Hunter, Hayden and Hensley of Ludowici, GA. Preceded in death by Ann a granddaughter, Tiffany Ann Prince.
Being an only child Ann so appreciated and dearly loved her family and friends. She leaves behind a Special friend , Jackie Annis and all her other loving friends from her church family at Maranatha Baptist Church of which she was a member in Exmore and Pastor Mike Muender who all helped Ann in her journey. Ann knew no strangers and became friends with all whom she met and had an abundance of love to give. Her love will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
A 2:00 service will be held at Thornton’s Funeral Home on Friday January 11th Parksley, VA with a visitation at 1:00. Graveside at Parksley, Cemetery. Officiating will be Pastor Freddie Ward.
