
The Northampaton Yellow Jackets were the lone Shore team to win in Friday night football, defeating the Middlesex Chargers 42-12.
The Yellow Jackets amassed 375 yards of rushing offense on the ground, lead by Elijah Hope and Kaidn Davis. Hope finished with 15 rushes for 214 yards and two touchdowns, while Davis added 16 carries for 111 yards and two scores. Jerry Sturgis and Jeremiah White added the other two scores for the Yellow Jackets. Hope and Davis were named by WESR’s Kenny Walker and the co-Bojangles Players of the Game for their performance.
In other football action Friday night, the Nandua Warriors fell in Amelia 25-14. The Warriors’ Eli Parker caught a touchdown pass from Jordan Snead.
The Arcadia Firebirds fell at Franklin 38-0.
Southampton Academy defeated the Chincoteague Ponies 42-0.
Today Broadwater Academy will travel to Kenston Forest for a 2:00 PM game.
