Boys Basketball
The Arcadia Firebirds boys basketball team traveled to Decatur on Wednesday night and earned an impressive 79–62 road victory. With the win, the Firebirds improved to 3–2 on the season. Arcadia will look to build on the momentum Friday night when they travel to Tabb High School.
The Nandua Warriors boys basketball team traveled to Lakeland High School on Wednesday night but came up short, falling 70–56. With the loss, Nandua dropped to 1–2 on the season. The Warriors will look to bounce back Friday when they face Northumberland High School in the Franklin High School Holiday Basketball Tournament.
Girls Basketball
The Arcadia Lady Firebirds basketball team hosted Wicomico High School on Wednesday night but suffered a setback, losing 61–13. With the loss, the Lady Firebirds moved to 4–2 on the season. Arcadia will look to regroup and return to action January 3 when they host Thomas Jefferson.
