Vikings open softball/baseball season with sweep of Tidewater Academy

Softball

The Broadwater Lady Vikings softball team opened its season by hosting Tidewater Academy on Tuesday. The Lady Vikings won the game 11-0.

Ramsey Revelle started on the mound and earned the win, pitching five innings while allowing one hit, no runs, and striking out 14 batters. Kasey Ford and Ramsey Revelle each had two hits, while Adrianna Holloway added a triple.

The Lady Vikings returned to action on Wednesday as they traveled to Isle of Wight.

Baseball

The Broadwater Vikings baseball team hosted Tidewater Academy on Tuesday and secured a dominant 16-0 victory.

Teddy Seybolt started on the mound and picked up the win, pitching four innings, allowing one hit, and striking out six. Aiden Fuller went 2-for-3 with a double, a home run, and five RBIs. Eli Destro and Cohen Kellam each recorded three hits.

The Vikings will play at home this afternoon against Norfolk Christian.
