Baseball
The Broadwater Vikings baseball team hosted Greenbrier Christian on Thursday afternoon and suffered a 24–0 loss. Bennitt Custis got the start on the mound and was charged with the loss. Offensively, the Vikings managed just one hit, which came from Owen Pruitt.
With the loss, the Vikings fall to 1–3–1 on the season. They will return to action on Friday as they host Norfolk Collegiate.
Softball
The Broadwater Lady Vikings softball team also hosted Greenbrier Christian on Thursday afternoon and lost by a score of 11–0. Ramsey Revelle started on the mound and took the loss.
Offensively, the Lady Vikings were held hitless. The team now stands at 3–1 on the season and will return to action Monday when they travel to face Norfolk Christian.
