The Broadwater Vikings boys basketball team hosted Tidewater Academy in the opening round of the VISAA Division IV state tournament. The Vikings won the game by a score of 48-47. With the win, the Vikings will travel to play Rose Academy on Wednesday in the quarterfinals of the state tournament.
The Arcadia Firebirds basketball team traveled to play Southampton in the quarterfinals of the 2A regional basketball tournament. The Firebirds won the game by a score of 73-61. With the win, the Firebirds advance to play on Thursday against the winner of John Marshall and King William in the semifinals.
Girls
The Arcadia Lady Firebirds traveled to play John Marshall on Tuesday night in the quarterfinals of the 2A regional basketball tournament. The Lady Firebirds lost the game. With the loss, the Lady Firebirds finished the season with a 12-6 record.
