The Nandua Warriors hosted the Windsor Dukes on Thursday evening but came up short, falling in straight sets, 25-15, 25-21, and 25-9. With the loss, the Warriors drop to 0-2 on the season. Nandua will try to rebound Tuesday when they return home to face Norfolk Christian.
The Arcadia Firebirds traveled to Holly Grove on Thursday night, where they also fell in straight sets, 25-15, 25-11, and 25-14. Still searching for their first win of the season, the Firebirds will be back in action Wednesday, September 11, on the road at Broadwater Academy.
The Northampton Yellow Jackets girls volleyball team earned a sweep at home Thursday night, defeating the Franklin Broncos in straight sets. The victory moves the Jackets to 2-1 on the season. Northampton will look to build on that momentum Tuesday when they host Lancaster.
