Broadwater Academy’s Kacey Ford and Leah Smith have earned spots on the 2024-25 All-Metro Conference Varsity Basketball Team for their outstanding performances this season.
Smith led the Lady Vikings in multiple categories, averaging 11.2 points per game while shooting a team-best 45% from the field. She also dominated defensively, leading the team with 6.8 rebounds, 3.1 steals, and 2.5 blocks per game, while adding 2.2 assists.
Ford paced the team’s offense with 11.4 points per game and shot 41% from the field.
The Lady Vikings finish their regular season with an 11-7 record. They fell in a delayed Metro Conference Semi Matchup Saturday morning to Greenbrier Christian 54-37.
