The Chincoteague Ponies volleyball team hosted the Nandua Warriors on Thursday night in a five-set battle. The Ponies came out on top with a 3-2 victory, improving their record to 3-10 on the season. Chincoteague will return to action on Tuesday when they travel to face Northampton.
With the loss, the Nandua Warriors drop to 0-10 on the year. They will look to rebound on Tuesday as they host the Arcadia Firebirds.
Also on Thursday, the Broadwater Vikings volleyball team hosted Gateway Christian Academy. The Vikings fell in straight sets, 3-0, slipping to 9-6 on the season. Broadwater will look to bounce back on Monday when they travel to take on Greenbrier Christian.
