Ponies and Firebirds fall on the road in Thursday night action

The Arcadia Firebirds football team traveled to Windsor on Thursday night to open its football season.  The Firebirds lost a back and forth game by a score of 35 to 27.  The Firebirds will play again next Thursday as they host Charles City at home.

The Chincoteague Ponies football team fell at Kenston Forest on Thursday night 28-12.  The Ponies fall to 1-1 on the early season and will be in action again on Thursday September 5th as they host Brunswick Academy.
