Northampton teams put up strong spring sport performances

Northampton County’s spring sports teams picked up several strong performances across the board this week.

The Yellow Jackets baseball team traveled to Franklin and came away with a 10-2 victory.

The softball team delivered one of the most decisive results of the day, overpowering Franklin 22-3 in another road matchup.

At home, the girls soccer team earned a solid 4-2 win over Mathews.

On the boys side, Northampton fell to Ocean Lakes by a score of 2-0.
