Northampton soccer advances to State Semi Finals, Nandua falls

2A Quarterfinals
The Nandua Warriors boys soccer team hosted Clarke County on Monday afternoon.  The Warriors lost the game by a score of 2 to 1.   Archer Johnson scored the lone goal for the Warriors with 2 minutes to go in the game.   The Warriors finished the season as the Region 2A champions.

1A Quarterfinals
The Northampton Yellow Jackets boys soccer team were supposed to host the Appomattox Governors who were the 1B regional runner-up on Tuesday night.   The Yellow Jackets will advance to the State semifinals as Appomattox forfeit the game as they were unable to field a team.   The Yellow Jackets will play on Friday as they will play the winner of Auburn and Patrick Henry in Salem at 11am.
