
The Northampton High School Yellow Jackets volleyball team earned a straight-set victory over Salisbury Christian at home Monday night, winning 3–0. The set scores were tight throughout, but Northampton held on for wins of 25-23, 25-23, and 25-22.
Rylee Coates turned in a strong all-around performance with 2 aces, 4 kills, 3 blocks, 14 digs, and an assist. Abby Zodun added 2 aces, 2 kills, 7 assists, and 12 digs to help lead the Jackets.
Other contributors included Jade Collins with 1 ace, 3 kills, and 7 digs, while Hailey Dinwiddie added 4 kills and a block. Dani Fonseca tallied 1 ace, 4 assists, and 3 digs, and Brelyn Coates chipped in 1 ace, 1 kill, and 12 digs. Tegan Gerber finished with 2 aces and 7 digs.
KeAsia Doughty, Katie Taylor, and Macy Futterer each added a kill as Northampton improved its record with the home win.
