The Eastern Shore District held a golf match on Tuesday, September 10th at Captain Cove golf course.
Nandua won the match by a team score of 175. Low medalist of the day was Toryn Ibarra, from Nandua, with a score of even par 36. Landon Joynes had a score of 45. Kyler Vasquenza, Sonny Rudiger, and Grayson Ford had a score of 47 in nine holes.
Chincoteague had a team score of 225. Beyce Luck had the lowest score for Chincoteague with a score of 50. Micah Bennicoff had a score of 54, Landon Easton had a score of 60, and Corey Saulsbury had a score of 61 for the Ponies.
Nandua and Chincoteague will be in action again on Thursday September 12th at the Eastern Shore Yacht and Country Club in Melfa. The teams will play 9 holes again and start the match at 1:30pm.
