The Nandua High School swim team faced off against Salisbury School and Salisbury Christian in a competitive tri-meet, with the boys’ team securing victories against both opponents and the girls’ team splitting their results.
The Nandua girls triumphed over Salisbury School with a 56-38 victory but fell to Salisbury Christian, 28-66. Meanwhile, the Nandua boys dominated the competition, defeating Salisbury School 52-35 and Salisbury Christian 50-32.
Several Nandua swimmers delivered standout performances, earning first-place finishes. Sarah Bentley claimed victory in the 500-yard freestyle for the girls’ team. On the boys’ side, Camden Lewis won the 200-yard individual medley, while Austin Wert took first in both the 50-yard and 100-yard freestyle events. Zac Smith secured a win in the 100-yard backstroke.
Additionally, Nandua’s 200-yard medley relay team, consisting of Lucas Calvetti, Camden Lewis, Zac Smith, and Austin Wert, captured first place, further contributing to the boys’ dominant performance.
