The Nandua Warrior Cross Country team finished 9th in the State at the State Tournament in Salem, Virginia Saturday.
The Warriors scored 224 points, notching a total time of 1:33:14 with an average runner time of 18:39.

Three female runners from the Eastern Shore competed in the 2A division. Nandua’s Areli Enriquez ran in 22:40.8, Arcadia’s Grace Perez ran in 23:19.8 and Arisbeth Gomez ran in 24:37.8.
Three Shore female runners also competed in the 1A division. Daniela Gonzalez from Northampton finished with a time of 22:43.8, Wendi Martinez of Northampton finished at 24:29.0 and Carli Fradia of Chincoteague ran 24:32.5.
