The Nandua Warriors hosted Lancaster on Tuesday afternoon and came away with a 5–3 win. Hayden Williams started on the mound and recorded a no-decision, pitching 3 innings and allowing 2 runs (1 earned) on 1 hit while striking out 6. Aiden McIntyre pitched in relief and earned the win, throwing 4 innings with 1 unearned run, no hits allowed, and 9 strikeouts.
Offensively, the Warriors totaled 5 hits. Austin Wert went 2-for-3 with two solo home runs. Aiden McIntyre, Hayden Williams, and Grayson Ford each added a hit; Ford’s was a double with 2 RBIs.
Nandua improves to 3–1 on the season and will return to action Friday as they host Laurel.
The Chincoteague Ponies traveled to Holly Grove on Tuesday and earned a dominant 18–1 victory. Kent Reed got the start and the win, pitching 3 scoreless innings, allowing no hits, and striking out 4.
The Ponies collected 14 hits. Bryce Luck went 3-for-6, while Micah Bennicoff was 3-for-4. Kent Reed and Landon Easton each had 2 hits.
Chincoteague improves to 1–1–1 on the season and will travel to Wi-Hi on Thursday.
Softball
The Chincoteague Lady Ponies traveled to Holly Grove on Tuesday afternoon and earned a 6-inning win, defeating their hosts 11–1. C. McPherson started and picked up the win, pitching 6 innings and allowing 1 run on 5 hits while striking out 11.
The Lady Ponies had 10 hits in the game. M. Wright went 3-for-4. Anslyn Greenwood added a triple, while Julia Duston and Rylee Giddings each doubled.
Chincoteague improves to 1–2 on the season and will play again Thursday at Wi-Hi.
The Broadwater Lady Vikings traveled to Atlantic Shores on Tuesday and secured a 14–1 win. Ramsey Revelle got the start and the win, pitching 5 innings while allowing 1 unearned run on 2 hits and striking out 7.
Broadwater collected 7 hits. Revelle also went 2-for-3 with a home run, and Elana Hickman went 2-for-3 with 3 RBIs.
The Lady Vikings improve to 5–1 and will travel to Tidewater Academy on Thursday.

The Lady Warriors managed 3 hits—one each from Kylie Killmon, Peyton Truckner, and Jazzy West.
Nandua drops to 1–2 and will host Crisfield on Thursday.
The Arcadia Lady Firebirds hosted Nansemond River on Tuesday and lost a close contest, 5–1. Rylee Giddens pitched a complete game, throwing 7 innings and giving up 4 runs on 9 hits while striking out 13.
Arcadia had 5 hits on the day. Brinlee Kauthen went 2-for-2 with a double. Peyton Taylor, Megan Montross, and Kaylee Williams each added a hit.
The Lady Firebirds fall to 1–2 on the season and will host Parkside on Thursday.
