Girls Basketball
The Arcadia Lady Firebirds traveled to Smithfield on Monday and came away with a 38–35 victory. The win improves Arcadia to 6–2 on the season. The Lady Firebirds return to action Thursday when they host Salisbury Christian.
The Chincoteague Lady Ponies traveled to Holly Grove on Monday and suffered a 37–9 loss. The loss drops the Lady Ponies to 0–2 on the season. They will return to action Thursday as they host Wicomico.
Boys Basketball
The Chincoteague Ponies boys basketball team also traveled to Holly Grove on Monday, falling 58–48. The Ponies fall to 3-2 on the season and will return to action Thursday when they host Wicomico.
The Nandua Warriors traveled to Salisbury School on Monday and were edged 58–57 in a close contest. The Warriors drop to 1–6 on the season and will be back on the court Tuesday as they travel to Norfolk Christian.
