
An Onley teenager has recently been selected, after try outs, to represent the USA with the U13 Elite Dek Hockey team at the United World Games in Austria this June. Connor Tyler is a 12 year old student, in 7th Grade, at Nandua Middle School in Onley. He has played street hockey in Parksley, Virginia for the ESSHL (Eastern Shore Street Hockey League) since he was 3 years old.
The United World games is one of the largest youth sporting events in the world. It will bring together elite athletes from across the globe and Connor is ready to showcase his talents against international competitors. He has a relentless work ethic and passion for the game that is undeniable. His hope is to help lead Team USA to gold.
Connor’s journey to Austria is a testament to his commitment, countless hours of training, and love for hockey. As he prepares to take the international stage, friends, family, and supporters are cheering him on, excited to see him represent his country with pride.
There will be multiple fundraisers up and coming to support Connor and TEAM USA.
