The Broadwater Lady Vikings traveled to Oak Hall to take on the Arcadia Lady Firebirds in ladies basketball. The Lady Vikings defeated the Lady Firebirds by a score of 43 to 38. The Lady Vikings move to 2-0 on the season and the Lady Firebirds move to 0-2.
Suzanna Long led the Lady Vikings in scoring with 11 points. Leah Smith had 10 points and Faith Johnson had 8 points.
Monica Cropper led the Lady Firebirds in scoring with 12 points. Also in double figures was Jayda Tull with 11 points.
The Chincoteague Lady Ponies traveled to Delmar to take on the Lady Wildcats. The Lady Wildcats defeated the Lady Ponies by a score of 44 to 29. The Lady Ponies was led by Lindsey O’Shea with 7 points and 10 rebounds.
