Lady Vikings Fall on the Road

The Broadwater Lady Vikings softball team traveled to Nansemond-Suffolk Academy on Tuesday afternoon and lost by a score of 8–1. Carly Clayton got the start on the mound and struck out six batters in the loss.

Offensively, the Lady Vikings recorded three hits in the game. Kacey Ford, Ava Webb, and Miranda Smith each had one hit.

Broadwater falls to 1–1 on the season and will return to action Wednesday as they host the Chincoteague Ponies.
