The Nandua Warriors ran into a buzzsaw Friday evening, falling to the 4-1 Colonel Richardson Colonels 50-6 at home.
Despite the loss, Nazere Blake shined once again for the Warriors, carrying the ball 18 times for the Warriors for 129 yards and the lone touchdown. Blake was named the Bojangles Player of the Game for the 2nd consecutive week.
The Nandua Warriors fall to 2-5 on the season and return to action at home next Friday night against the Arcadia Firebirds.
The Chincoteague Ponies fell on the road to Southampton Academy Friday night, 48-16. The Ponies fall to 4-4 on the season and will finish their season next Saturday hosting Coventry Christian.
Saturday the Broadwater Vikings will host 5-2 Blessed Sacrament-Hugenot at 2:00 PM.
