Firebirds win in Saturday afternoon matchup

The Arcadia Firebirds basketball team traveled to the Boo Williams Complex and played Poquoson on Saturday. The Firebirds won the game by a score of 47 to 37. The Firebirds improved to 2-2 on the season and will return to action on Monday as they host Holly Grove.

The Northampton Yellow Jackets basketball team traveled across the bay on Saturday to play Menchville. The Yellow Jackets lost the game by a score of 68 to 65. The Yellow Jackets fall to 1-5 on the season and will return to action on 12/28 to play at Surry.
