The Arcadia Lady Firebirds softball team traveled to Southampton on Tuesday afternoon, where they lost a close game by a score of 2-0. Ryann Giddins got the start and took the loss. She pitched six innings, allowing just one hit while striking out 17 batters.
Offensively, the Lady Firebirds recorded two hits. Brinlee Kauthen and Olivia Lynch each had one hit in the game.
The Lady Firebirds fall to 1-3 on the season and will return to action on Thursday as they host the Broadwater Lady Vikings.
