ES Angler’s Club hosts successful Kid’s Fishing Event

The Eastern Shore Anglers Club had their Kid’s Free Fishing Day Sunday the 15th.

47 children and their parents came to the Saxis public pier for a fun fishing time. Every child was given a Fishing rod and Bait and tackle. The fish caught were measured and recorded.

1st place went to Zander Redmond, age 4, with a 10 inch speckled trout. Willow Carr – age 12, took 2nd place with a 7 inch croaker. 3rd place was Jeremiah Fitchett, age 10, with a 6 inch spot.

A picnic lunch followed the fishing event.
