Junior Boys (13-14)
The Central Accomack Junior league team traveled to Tazewell for the State Tournament this past weekend. The team went 2-1 in pool play defeating Roanoke City 22 to 2 on Friday, losing to Upper Loudoun County 4 to 3 on Saturday, and defeating Annadale 11 to 4 on Sunday. The team placed second in the pool and advanced to the single elimination tournament on Monday. Central played Lancaster and lost by a score of 10 to 7.
Junior Girls (13-14)
The Central Accomack Junior girls team traveled to Alexandria on June 27th to play in the State Tournament. The team went 0-2 losing to Olive/Western Branch by a score of 21 to 6 and South County by a score of 12 to 2.
9-10-11 Girls
The Shore girls team of 9-11 age group traveled to York County Little League for the State Tournament this past weekend. The team went 1-2 in pool play losing to McLean 13 to 3 on Saturday, losing to 7 to 4 to Fairfax on Sunday, and winning 18 to 3 to Greater Fauqier.
Congratulations to all the Little League teams for making it to the State Tournaments.
